Well day one is here and I’m a little stressed.
First off, I woke up at 8AM getting ready to weigh myself and have my lemon ginger water. I stepped on the scale and found that I had gained 3 pounds since my last juice fast in April. I guess I need to work on my transition plan going forward. I’m sure I wasn’t drinking enough water.
Next issue, I made my first juice that I had planned using the Reboot with Joe app. It is called Mango Salsa and it sounded really good. Well after juicing all the ingredients, I only got 15 ounces of juice even though it said (2 servings).
Next Issue: I started to make the mean green and I realized the app was wrong again, so I went back to my recipe from my original guided reboot. That one worked perfectly. So I make my last juice which was the Green Pom-Pom and it made only one serving as well. Good thing I only need five juices today.
I was so proud of myself how prepared I was. I planned all my menus, went to whole foods and bought all the ingredients only to realize I only had enough produce for 2.5 days. I should have known that 5 days of juicing ingredients should have been more than $35. Oh well, back to whole foods tomorrow after I do a new menu with the correct serving size. I am going to contact the app developer to see whats up. I paid $10 for the app, I assumed it would be right. We’ll see.
So my jucing plan for my journey is:
- 8AM – lemon water
- 9AM – juice 1
- 10AM – water (or coconut water)
- 11AM – juice 2
- Noon – water
- 1PM – juice 3
- 2PM – water
- 3PM – juice 4
- 4PM – water
- 5PM – juice 5
- 6PM – water or broth.
